Hi, my name is Jerica Church. Each year I try to raise money to help spread suicide awareness. In the past I have raised money through events and shirts. This year I have a few different options. My husband and I have both lost family and friends by suicide. It's real and it happens more often than we know or care to admit. If I could share one message to the world, it would be that you are not alone, there are people in this world that do care about you and we want you to stay. 

In 2018, there were 48,344 recorded suicides, up from 42,773 in 2014, according to the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).  In 2018, suicide was the second leading cause of death for youth and young adults (ages 10-34). Yes, these stats are a few years old, due to the worldly pandemic, we aren't sure how many were actually suicide in 2019-2020. Studies have shown the suicide and depression rates have skyrocketed since the pandemic. 

100% of the profits from every item purchased below between now and April 30th will go to two national trusted suicide awareness foundations. 50% of profits from my shop (items not listed on this page, HERE) will go towards the fundraising.

What are the affirmation cards and how do they work?

There are several ways to use affirmation cards.


  • One way is to pull a card each morning. I like to journal for 10 minutes after.
  • Pull a card when you feel like you in a funk for inspiration.
  • Use them as decor. I like to set mine on my nightstand. I know people who put them on the desks at work or in classrooms.
  • Give them away. I give these in my sessions every now and then. I also give everyone an affirmation card at my events, and I let them keep that card. The deck doesn’t need to stay all together.
  • Use them for journal prompts


A note from the creator:

When I first started my healing journey, I found affirmation cards. At the time I was struggling with severe postpartum depression and major self-esteem issues. I think it's safe to say these aren't a fix all but they truly CHANGED my life. They gave me a small piece of hope every day. I’ll admit, at first, I questioned how something so simple could improve my mindset. I took a chance and they worked! Since then, I have used affirmation to help set intentions for my day, remind myself, and find peace.
