The importance of drums.
Drumming is a form of Sound Therapy. Essentially, drums create frequency and vibrations that enter in through the body releasing physical and emotional blocks. Our Energetic system does well with drums specifically because the drum mimics a heart beat. The heart beat is the first thing we hear in the womb and helps us to connect to our surroundings.
Drum therapy is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. Therapeutic rhythm techniques have been used for thousands of years to create and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Music is a powerful way to let go and release. I love drumming because of this. Making your own drum is even more powerful when taking into a healing journey.

Why is the cost higher than most classes?
Each of the drums being made at this class are made with real animal skin. It's different everytime however the process is the same. The cost it takes for them to cut and dry the hide plus all the other materials is actually pretty costly. We take pride in our animal hides, they come from a company who uses every part of the animals body. The drums we will be creating cost on avereage $300-$1000 from other healers.
